How do I recover a forgotten username?
You can recover a forgotten username using your registered email address:
- Select 'Log in' in the software or on the website.
- Select 'Forgot password?'.
- Enter the registered email address.
- Select 'Send'.
If the email address is valid, you will receive a message with your username.
Do not create a new account if you have forgotten your username.
Can I change my PokerStars username?
No. Username changes are not allowed.
Usernames identify players at the tables. Allowing changes would let players hide behind a new identity, which is not permitted.
What is the difference between an account and a username?
Each player has one PokerStars account with one username.
Your account includes:
- One username and password for all PokerStars brands in your region
- One wallet and account balance
- One set of account details and settings (for example, address changes, PINs, and security tools)
